Saturdays are for Overlee!

• Scored meets that determine OVL’s standing in Division 1
• One heat per event with 3 swimmers per team
• Swimmers may be selected for up to 2 individual events in addition to relays
• Coaches select swimmers for all Saturday Meets
  • Swimmers receive an email on Thursday night
  • Availability must be confirmed ASAP on Thursday night via SwimTopia.
  • If a swimmer can’t attend, they should notify the Team Reps immediately.
    • Mark your swimmers as Available or Unavailable in SwimTopia for Saturday meets
    • If availability changes during the season, please alert Coach Ryan ASAP so that he can plan
• Questions regarding Saturday rosters should be directed to the Team Reps, not the coaches.

NVSL Saturday Meet Scoring 

• Total number of points in a NVSL Dual Meet is 420. 
• Individual events are scored: 5 points for 1st place; 3 points for 2nd place; 1 point for 3rd place. 
• Relays in NVSL Dual Meets are scored: 5 points for 1st place; 0 points for 2nd place.

About the Orange & White Meet

• Saturday, June 7, 2025
• Swimmers swim all events in which they are legal and get their 2025 seed times
• Coaches use the times to plan for the first Saturday meet
• If a swimmer can’t attend, it is the swimmer’s responsibility to have the absence pre-approved by the coaches
• Make-up sessions will only be scheduled for pre-approved absences
• A swimmer will not be eligible to swim in a Saturday meet without seed times 

Logistics

• Swimmers get their team t-shirts at the pep rally Friday, June 6
• Wear these t-shirts for team picture before the O&W meet
• Swimmers are assigned to Orange Team or White Team at check in (bandanas) - assignments are random. Swimmers stay with their color during the meet and practice cheers.
